Update: Ms. Tammy has a new math lessons (Chapter 7 Lesson 3 Part 2 and Chapter 7 Lesson 4), Mr. John has Life Science Observations for Spring Break, and here is the actual lesson plan for Ms. Kathy's 3rd Period Middle School. If your middle or high school student would like a higher grade for the feast, they can do the following:
* Write a letter or draw a picture for friends at Lake Marion or at Windsor Manor. Bring the Lake Marion correspondence to school on Friday and Ms. Angie will deliver it.
* Make a donation to the blessing box--just take a picture of them doing the drop off and send it to Ms. Tammy.
* Do a project and send a picture. Students have received credit for making a desktop, knives, paintings, and crocheting. Send a picture of their work to Ms. Tammy for credit.
Mr. John would like all middle school to read this note. "Next week we will be reading from the History of England. Therefore, I have copied the necessary material for parents to pickup. I will be at school all day tomorrow and Friday (8-4 pm). If you need to make other arrangements, just let me know. "
We hope you all had a blessed Easter and a well-earned rest. New lessons are uploaded for a new week. School resumes on April 20 and socially distant learning will continue through the end of the month. We are doing our best to offer more support, communicating through Myschoolworx and the current lesson links page. We will continue to use Zoom meetings to enhance the living books, narrations, notebooks, and riches. Some of our math students are using Khan Academy and Splash. We still encourage you to do the morning meeting and Bible readings as a daily liturgy for your family as well as the weekly riches.

Ms. Angie's Lessons
- Duolingo is due for high school Spanish students and grades are posted in Myschoolworx.
- Instead of studying a memory verse, high school Bible students must turn in one written narration of a Bible reading from this week.
Ms. Tammy's Lessons
- Students in middle and high have the option to do picture and composer study through Zoom. They can continue working on their own and sending in written narrations or they can attend one of three Zoom gatherings: Mon at 2:00, Tue at 1:00, or Thu at 1:00. (All my meetings have the same ID: 407 964 9249. I will send a link and the same password right before the meeting begins.)
- 1st Period and 4th Period Khan Academy Math - If you have not done so already, please watch this video (click here) explaining the new expectations of aiming for 30 minutes per day by working smarter, not harder.
- Precalculus, Honor Geometry (2nd Period) - We will keep in touch as we have been since long-distance learning began.
- Honors Algebra I (3rd Period) - I will be posting lessons and homework feedback during the week: Lesson 2 Part I is due Tue 4/21 (Chapter 7 Lesson 3 Part 1), due Thu 4/23 (Chapter 7 Lesson 3 Part 2), and due 4/27 (Chapter 7 Lesson 4).
- Spanish - Please send a picture of copywork (attached PDF for first year and attached PDF for second year) to Ms. Tammy on April 20 and call her on May 1 to do the oral script for a grade: first year students (click for greetings and good-byes and click for numbers 1-60) and second + year students (click for seasons). Ms. Tammy will be having practice classes on Zoom for first year Spanish students in middle school: Mon at 1:00 PM and Wed at 1:00 PM and Fri at 1:00 PM. (All my meetings have the same ID: 407 964 9249. I will send a link and the same password right before the meeting begins.)
- Bible Memory Verse - Due Friday, April 24: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Please send a video or audio or let Ms. Tammy know that your child has recited the verse.
