- We are offering four multi-age classrooms: Kindergarten, Primary, Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
- We tailor language arts to individual children, following the progression of reciting memorized verses, narrating what they know, reading, penmanship, copywork, studied dictation, and written compositions. We offer Spanish starting in the primary years.
- Science is based on first-hand knowledge: nature study, biographies, and replicating inventions/experiments.
- We have mathematics curricula that build both understanding and solid mental habits.
- History is the pivot of our curriculum: each class studies an important period of history every year.
- Children learn ancient, world, American, and South Carolina history through the stories of famous people.
- The best books for literature, geography, the arts, etc. support the history and important ideas of that time.
- Children know God's word first-hand by reading the Bible together and talking about it.
- Staff and substitutes are trained by Charlotte Mason educator and speaker, Tammy Glaser, and prov-en-der.
- We collaborate with Red Mountain Community School and Oak Cottage Homeschool Enrichment to tailor AmblesideOnline to our school.
