ANNOUNCEMENT:
As many of you have seen or heard, Governor McMaster has announced that schools will remain closed through the end of April. While we are sad to extend this period of learning from a distance, we feel it is best to comply with this mandate.
We will observe our scheduled Spring Break as outlined on the school calendar, April 10-17. I believe we will all need that time of rest.
Updates:
Mr. John's Life Science update is here. His note to Honors Biology is here.
We are here to support you! We encourage you to start the morning with activities listed below (Bible study for the whole family and morning time for elementary and below). Feel free to pick one item from the feast to do every day. Their daily work should include reading and narrating, doing copywork and weekly studied dictation for older students, working on math, studying verses and poems, doing daily nature study outdoors, playing outdoors, and helping with chores. If you have extenuating circumstances, please let your teacher know. Keep sending your pictures and we will keep sharing them on our Facebook album Harvesters at Home.
Reading plans for Ms. Darlene and Ms. Terri are below. We are pooling readings into one PDF for your convenience. Continue using lesson plans of Ms. Carrie, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Kathy (from last week) and high school's poem for two weeks. Click here for Mr. John's new lesson plans. During the week, he will send observations for Life Science middle schoolers to you through Myschoolworx and we will post them here. Click here for Ms. Tammy's notes concerning math, Spanish, and the Feast.
