The Feast 2019-2020

The school year is on a roll, and we are ready for The Feast. We are so thankful that our Kindergarten teacher Jennifer Bauduin has stepped up to the vital job of making calls to volunteers every week. If she has not contacted you, please call the office and we will put her in touch with you. We are also thankful for every person who can help on Tuesdays and Thursdays so your children can experience the full riches. Our most critical need right now is drivers for the nature walk and the nursing home on Thursdays.

Everything you need to know for being a volunteer is here and will be updated throughout the year. The first couple of times you come, all you need to do is observe how we do lessons and help the teacher as needed (for example, pass out cups of water for students who are painting). This term's artist is Vincent van Gogh and the composer is Felix Mendelssohn. Our handwork is batik. Click the following buttons for information about different elements of The Feast.

Click the "Guide for Volunteers" button to learn more about The Feast.

To learn about Tuesdays, click the "Guide for Next Tuesday" to learn more about The Tuesday Feast. To learn more about our artist, click the "Pictures to Study" and the "Information about Pictures" buttons.

To learn about Thursdays, click the "Guide for Next Thursday" to learn more about The Thursday Feast. To learn more about our composer, click the "Composer Study Playlist" and the "Information about Music" buttons. Click the buttons for Primary and Elementary to see what those classes are reading for citizenship. The buttons after that are phone and tablet apps you may find helpful on nature walks.
