Athletics
We are taking our first step in the school’s ability to offer more sports in addition to archery. Lara Blaisdell has offered to be Harvest’s Athletic Director. She grew up playing tennis, starting at a young age because her father is a professional tennis player. Her extensive background in competitive sports includes playing soccer at the collegiate level and into her adult life, a track and field runner, and a 4.0-rated tennis player. She competed in body building, taking second place twice. She has poured her passion for teaching and mentoring as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, softball coach (15 years), soccer coach (25 years), and tennis coach. Lara is looking for volunteers with expertise in sports suitable for Harvest. More information will be forthcoming.
God gives us “the work of preserving this body in health, nourishing it in strength, and training it in fitness for whatever special work He may give you to do in His world.” ~ Charlotte Mason
